A guide to our admissions process

1. Initial Contact

Referrer makes first contact by emailing admissions@thegreenschool.org.uk

The Admissions Team responds with next steps and referral paperwork

Referrer completes and returns:

• Referral documents

• Risk assessment

• Any supporting information (e.g. EHCP, background details)

Referrals Team reviews information and confirms suitability to move forward

2. Referral Information Completed

3. On-Site Show Around

A visit is arranged for the young person (and professionals where appropriate)

The young person is shown the site and provision

Any questions or concerns are discussed

A Service Level Agreement is sent to referrer

This confirms:

• Provision offered

• Costs and invoicing arrangements

4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

5. Placement Start Date Agreed

A start date is agreed by all parties

Site staff are informed and preparation takes place

The young person starts their placement

An induction is completed on their first day

Ongoing support and communication begin from day one

Once we have received your initial request we will ask you to complete an admissions form and request any further information we may need to make a decision.
