The Green is a specialist independent school dedicated to transforming the educational journey of young people with complex social, emotional and mental health needs and related neurodiversity. We believe every learner deserves an environment where they feel safe, understood and able to succeed — and we build our entire approach around that belief.

Our School
at a Glance

At our school, we offer a vocational curriculum designed to celebrate every student’s strengths, interests, and individuality. Our programmes blend academic learning with hands-on, practical experiences, helping students develop creativity, independence, and confidence in their abilities.

Our Curriculum

At The Green, our flexible and wide-ranging curriculum empowers every learner to excel in ways that genuinely inspire and motivate them. We recognise that the constraints of mainstream education can feel alienating and poorly suited to the specialist needs of our young people. That’s why we take a different approach.
